Here's another swim that's a little off the radar. I wonder if anyone fishes here, as I hop over the bank for a quick look-see. Beer cans crumple underfoot, amid the baccy packets and other crap. Someone clearly spends some downtime here. I'm guessing they're probably not anglers, whoever they might be. Words fail me when I look at how we treat our rivers. They really do.
No hook packets or old bait wraping material so as you say probably not angler but we are a dirty lot as a nation generally. Same to spoil idilic places like this.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we can't control those who are and those that should never be allowed into the countryside.
ReplyDeleteAll we can do is try to educate as many people as possible, so it becomes as socially unacceptable, as smoking in public places and drink driving have become in recent years to society.
Though there will always be some that refuse to learn I'm afraid.
